Women's Wellness Center In San Antonio

I had such a great experience at this women’s wellness center! The staff was so welcoming, and the wait time was very short—I was seen right away, which I really appreciated. Dr./Mrs. Laurie was absolutely amazing. She is so effective and provides excellent educational care, making sure her patients understand everything clearly. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and made me feel so comfortable during my visit. The whole process felt smooth, in and out, without feeling rushed. I would definitely recommend this women’s wellness center to anyone looking for compassionate and high-quality care.

Mind you this was about 9 months ago before I found a better GYN called virtuoso. Kristen Collins is very unprofessional!!! She would not listen to me about pelvis pain because I mentioned that the pain shoots up to my abdomen once. She Said I was wasting her time and should of listened by not coming in to the appointment even though I still wanted to do some bloodwork as well. She proceeded to say that this is a waste of time and she shouldn’t be doing any of this and set up a referral for a MRI, for abdomen views this was actually was a waste of time oh and money!!!oh guess what….GP didn’t find anything. Went to a different GYN(virtuoso)and I was diagnosed with PCOS. The pain was coming from my ovaries that they found through ultrasound. If she actually listened to her patients and is not quick to assume she probably wouldn’t of missed that. I know this clinic is limited on what they have to find these things but she could of referred me to an GYN that could of helped instead of wasting my time.

They tried to charge me a copay to ‘be established’ bc it’s a specialty, but I have Tricare and I looked everything up and I literally don’t have a copay for well women’s visits. He asked the doctor, and she just said I have to pay a copay Money grab here, I would stay away

Today was my first visit with Dr Kristen Collins. Actually, today was my first visit with any gynecologist in YEARS. So to say I was nervous is an understatement. But Dr Collins was so very easy to talk to. She listened carefully, she went over the information in my file, she made recommendations and explained each one, answered my questions, discussed my concerns and even referred me to another Dr. regarding another concern. She never made me feel like I was bothering her with silly questions or wasting her time, she didn't rush me or cut me off while I was speaking. When I left there, my mind was at ease and Dr. Collins gave me the option to follow up with my GP or to follow up with her. No pressure. My appointment went so well. I left there feeling like a valued client. Looks like I've finally found my new regular Gynecologist. I highly recommend Dr. Kristen Collins!

I have a bit of anxiety when going to women’s wellness doctors due to some bad experiences in the past. Met with NP Collins in Hillside Primary Care (UC) today and honestly was the BEST women’s health visit I have EVER had. So knowledgeable, kind, informative, and helpful. Honestly the model for efficient and effective medical care with kindness and consideration at the forefront. Cannot recommend them enough - you are in good hands here for women’s health!
